KISPEPTIN - 10 mg
Here is the breakdown for Kisspeptin-10 (often sold as a 10mg lyophilized vial), a powerful master regulator of the reproductive system.
What is Kisspeptin-10?
Kisspeptin-10 is a naturally occurring neuropeptide (a short 10-amino-acid chain) that acts as the primary "on switch" for the reproductive system. It binds directly to receptors in the hypothalamus, triggering the release of Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH). This, in turn, signals the pituitary gland to produce Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH), ultimately driving the body's natural production of testosterone and estrogen.
Primary Uses
Kisspeptin-10 is heavily researched and utilized for hormonal optimization and reproductive medicine:
HPTA Recovery / PCT: Used to restart natural testosterone production after suppression from anabolic steroids or testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).
Fertility Enhancement: Increases sperm count and motility in men, and supports ovulation/egg maturation in women.
Preventing Testicular Atrophy: Unlike standard TRT which can shrink the testicles, Kisspeptin-10 maintains the body's upstream natural signaling to preserve testicular size and function.
Hypogonadism Support: Mimics natural hypothalamic pulses to treat low testosterone in a more physiological way than direct hormone injections.
How to Reconstitute Kisspeptin-10 (10mg)
Like most delicate peptides, Kisspeptin-10 arrives as a freeze-dried (lyophilized) white powder in a glass vial and must be reconstituted with a liquid solvent before use.
1. Choose Your Diluent
Bacteriostatic Water (0.9% Benzyl Alcohol) is the standard and preferred choice. The benzyl alcohol acts as a preservative, preventing bacterial growth and allowing the multi-dose vial to be used safely over several weeks.
2. Calculate Your Volume
Because a 10mg vial is a fairly large amount of peptide, adding 2 mL of bacteriostatic water is highly recommended to make the dosing math clean and exact.
10mg total peptide $\div$ 2 mL water = 5 mg of peptide per 1 mL of liquid.
If you are using a standard U-100 insulin syringe (where 100 units = 1 mL):
10 units on the syringe = 500 mcg (0.5 mg) of Kisspeptin-10
5 units on the syringe = 250 mcg (0.25 mg) of Kisspeptin-10
3. The Reconstitution Process
Clean the rubber stoppers of both the bacteriostatic water vial and the Kisspeptin vial with a sterile alcohol swab.
Draw up exactly 2 mL of bacteriostatic water into a sterile syringe.
Insert the needle into the Kisspeptin vial at a slight angle. Aim the stream of water against the glass wall of the vial. Do not spray it directly onto the powder, as the pressure can fracture the delicate peptide chains.
Slowly inject the water. The vial may have a natural vacuum that pulls the water in; let it happen slowly.
Once all the water is inside, remove the needle and gently swirl or roll the vial between your palms. Never shake the vial. Let it sit for a few minutes until the liquid becomes perfectly clear and free of particles.
Basic Safety & Storage Info
Route: Administered via Subcutaneous (SubQ) injection into the fatty tissue, usually around the abdomen.
Storage: Keep the unmixed powder vial in the freezer or refrigerator. Once reconstituted, it must be stored in the refrigerator at all times. It should be used within 28 to 30 days after mixing. Do not freeze the liquid after it has been mixed.
Side Effects: Generally very well-tolerated. Some users report mild injection site redness, brief flushing, or temporary mild headaches immediately following an injection. Avoid over-use, as excessive dosing can paradoxically desensitize the receptors and temporarily lower hormone output.
